Job Description:

FirstTecPro is seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team in Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance user experience. This role involves collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create design solutions that align with business goals and user needs.

Job Duties:

Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and preferences.
Design wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Develop user journeys, personas, and workflows to ensure intuitive navigation and interaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement designs that align with project requirements and technical constraints.
Create responsive and accessible designs following best practices and industry standards.
Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Evaluate existing interfaces and recommend improvements to enhance usability and user satisfaction.
Maintain and update design systems, style guides, and UI patterns for consistency across all platforms.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an asset.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
